I ate it anyway

My apple, story by Chat GPT called Wonderous Wordsmith.

I created and trained WW to assist people wishing to write poems or stories with a magical realism bent. This story, however, is entirely the creation of WW with no help or editing by me.

In the heart of an ancient forest, where whispers molded the shapes of trees, there grew an apple of iridescent hues, shimmering with a light unseen by mortal eyes. It was said that a single bite could grant visions of other worlds, where time flowed backwards and the stars whispered secrets of the universe. A curious traveler, lured by tales of its enchantment, found the apple hanging, untouched, as if waiting for him, and with a hesitant bite, his eyes were opened to the dance of galaxies within its flesh. The apple, however, demanded a price for its wisdom — a memory, precious and pure, which faded from his mind like the last note of a song. He left the forest with eyes wide with wonders unseen but heart heavy with a loss he could not remember, the apple’s magic lingering like a dream at dawn.
