I agree with much of what you say. But look at how bad things have gotten since Occupy Wall Street. I was in the ranks back then. On the streets. Helping to organize. My wife and I put out a newsletter. All for what? To be outsmarted by Barack Obama and the ruling class.
I’m 72 now so I don’t hit the streets like I used to. When Trump was in El Paso I decided I needed to go, to witness for myself. I chose a Springsteen song to contrast the visuals. His people act like you and me, mostly, and yet, they seemingly don’t mind the shit Trump and his cronies are dishing out. They cheer. Something is bad wrong.
And so, as the days grow hotter here in SW NM, I continue to advocate for hitting the streets in civil disobedience. Take a stand. Rise up or die. Before it’s too late.
