Makes ya wonder. What’s the best toaster ever made? It was the
D-12.
Despite the D-12’s success, electricity was pricey and few people had access to it in 1909. Electric appliances didn’t really take off until 1912, when the more efficient alternating current system expanded and pushed aside Edison’s direct-current system.
A sudden hurricane, or a fast-swimming fish, or maybe a fast fish that swims-like-a-fish… these are some of the things that keep me up at night…
